Ethics of care: When relating with objects do so with tenderness, care and sensual                           engagement.

  • Take into account exploitative ways of dealing with objects (eg. using them only for functional purposes or considering objects useless if their function is exhausted). What happens when the object is seemingly exhausted? What affects or other ways of relating emerge from that situation?

  • Sourcing objects: second-hand, found objects, objects from household, recycling, leftover objects. Try your best to not buy new objects from shops, but rather relating with what is already around your home or other spaces of encounter.

  • Post-performance: Recycle or donate objects that are leftover if using large quantities of objects. Think about other forms this object can take after the performance is over. (eg. leftover grated beetroots were used to make more paper, or were used as compost, or leftover beetroots were donated).
